The departed were recognized as Holeppa Maruthi Masti (25), an occupant of Vantamuri town in Belagavi taluk, his significant other Vasathi (22) and their one-and-a-half-year-old child.

As per police, Holeppa returned home in an intoxicated state and battled with his better half on Thursday night. He kept up with that he would consume toxic substance to compromise his better half and later consumed it.
He was hurried to a confidential emergency clinic where he died on Friday morning. Unfit to bear the aggravation, Vasanthi chose to take her life alongside their two youngsters.
On Friday early afternoon, Vasanthi disappeared with her newborn child. Subsequent to looking all over, the family tracked down the bodies at a ranch, situated a long way from the town.
Examinations uncovered that Vasanthi had choked her child prior to balancing herself from a tree. Police tracked down the child’s body close to the tree late in the evening.
