Xenoblade Chronicles X is a massive sci-fi role-playing game from Monolith Soft, makers of Baten Kaitos and the original Xenoblade Chronicles, coming exclusively to the Wii U.
For those who haven’t heard of Xenoblade Chronicles X, it may very well be the saving grace of a failing console; the original Xenoblade Chronicles was one of the best RPGs on the Wii. The game has already been released in Japan for two months. Famitsu magazine gave the game a 34/40, Dengeki referred to the game as a masterpiece. The game was also the most downloaded game in Japan for the month of May with 23,000 copies of the game being downloaded on top of physical sales.
The Wii U is lacking in graphic power, compared to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the art style and colors alone makes Xenoblade look as amazing as any PlayStation 4/Xbox One game.
Xenoblade’s art style is enough to look amazing on the underdog Wii U console.
Xenoblade Chronicles X also features a massive open-world, with no restrictions on where you want to explore. Everything you see, you can explore. Stay tuned for more coverage on Xenoblade Chronicles X as we inch closer to the release date.
