The company started off with showing the world which gaming console is most used to gain access to their website, and with a whopping 51%, PlayStation is in the lead! Followed by Xbox with 39%, and only 10% for Wii U users.
But the statistics do not end there. YouPorn shows the diversity of the gaming community by revealing the top searches for each of the consoles. PlayStation’s community shows off a preference for maturity, with top searches being “mom,” “milf,” and “step-mom.” Xbox is a little more on the teenager side with popular searches for “lesbian” and “teen,” and Wii U users tend to lean a little more into the fantasy world, searching YouPorn mostly for “hentai,” “anime,” and “cartoon.”
Girls are nerdy, too
According to the ESA, 48% of gamers are female. And of that 48%, YouPorn states that 28% of the girl gaming population visits their website, and that population is mostly present on the Wii U (11% of the Wii’s YouPorn traffic is female). The statistics come as a surprise because at Unite 2014, Nintendo had announced that only 7% of Wii U shoppers were actually female.
The high female population for Wii U on YouPorn may explain why some of the Wii U’s most popular searches are “kissing,” “romantic,” “massage,” and “couples.”

The YouPorn Gamers Statistics blog also shows a map giving readers an idea of which users use which console where. The Xbox is mostly used in the United States of America and Mexico, and the Wii U is more popular in Southern Asia. As for the PlayStation… well, it’s pretty popular anywhere else in the world, Which might explain why it is the most used when it comes to YouPorn.
